Privacy notice
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This notice explains how Stone & Tiling Group Ltd, trading as S&T Group ("we", "us"), uses personal information when you send us an enquiry or tender documents, work with us on a project, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
Stone & Tiling Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11927226, registered office 17 Sedgefield Crescent, Romford RM3 9RR. We are the controller of your information. Contact: ggrosu@stgroupltd.co.uk, or phone and WhatsApp 07490 756252.
What we collect
- What you send through the tender form or the tender enquiry: your name, company, email, phone number, the work, who you are pricing for, the project name and town, the stage, the square metres, your message and your answers.
- The drawings, specifications and bills of quantities you attach. They may contain names and contact details of people working on the project.
- What you send by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- The questions you type into "Ask a question". We keep the question text only, without your name, IP address or anything that identifies you; email addresses, phone numbers and full postcodes are removed before it is saved. We use the questions to improve this website and delete them after 13 months.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply, price the work and carry it out: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To deal with business contacts working for main contractors and clients: our legitimate interests in running our business (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the records that tax and company law require: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them. Tender documents are used only to price and carry out the work they belong to.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, processes form submissions and stores the documents you attach.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our inbox.
- Google (Google Workspace), which hosts our email.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us that way, Google Maps, only if you allow the map, and Google Analytics, only if you allow visit statistics.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and documents that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of projects and payments are kept for as long as tax and company law require, usually six years.
